Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Pixformet ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit pixformet.com (the "Site") and use our browser-based tools (the "Tools"), how that information is used, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. The short version

🔒 Your uploaded files are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored on a Pixformet server during normal use. We do not require an account, and we do not sell personal information.

2. Files you process with our Tools

Every Tool on Pixformet is built to run client-side, using your browser's own JavaScript engine. When you drop an image, PDF, Word document or spreadsheet into a Tool, the compression, cropping, conversion, merging or other processing happens entirely on your device. In the current version of these Tools, that file is never uploaded to, or stored on, a Pixformet server as part of normal operation.

Some Tools load open-source processing libraries from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) the first time you use them, so your browser can perform tasks like PDF rendering, text extraction or background removal. These libraries execute locally, inside your browser tab; they do not transmit your file content back to us or to the CDN.

3. Information you choose to give us

If you use our Contact page, the form opens your own email application with a pre-filled message addressed to pixformet@gmail.com. That message — including your name, email address and whatever you write — is sent from your email account to ours the same way any other email is sent. We use it only to respond to you, and we don't add contact-form senders to a mailing list.

4. Cookies and local storage

We may use small amounts of browser local storage to remember your preferences between visits (for example, a tool's last-used settings), purely to make the Tools more convenient. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Separately, the Site displays advertising, and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies of their own — see the next section.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

Pixformet is supported by advertising. We work with third-party advertising companies, including Google AdSense, to serve ads when you visit the Site.

Advertisements are served by third parties in accordance with their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. Pixformet does not control the specific ads shown to any individual visitor.

6. Analytics

We may use basic, aggregated website analytics (such as page views and which Tools are used) to understand how the Site performs and to prioritize improvements. Analytics data is aggregated and is not linked to the content of files processed in any Tool.

7. Children's privacy

Pixformet is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information (for example, through the contact form), please email pixformet@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

8. Data security

Because file processing happens on your own device rather than on our servers, the security of your files during a Tool's use largely depends on your own device and browser. For the limited data we do handle directly (such as contact-form emails), we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Since we do not collect account data and do not store the files you process, in most cases we simply hold whatever you've sent us by email — which you can ask us to delete at any time by writing to pixformet@gmail.com.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to external websites (for example, official government pages referenced in our guides). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
