🔒 Both watermarking and clean-up run locally on canvas in your browser — your photo is never uploaded.

Adding or removing a watermark, without an upload

Stamping a text watermark across a batch of photos is a common step before sharing preview images publicly — a photographer's proofs, a listing photo you don't want reused elsewhere, or a draft document. Since the watermark is drawn directly onto the image in your browser's canvas, there's no need to upload the original files to a third-party site first.

The clean-up side of the tool works by smoothing a selected area using the surrounding pixels — effective for a small stamp, date-stamp, or logo sitting on a fairly plain background, though it isn't a substitute for full photo restoration on more complex images, and it's intended for cleaning up your own marks, not stripping someone else's copyright notice.

Common uses: watermarking preview photos before sending them to a client, protecting product images before listing them online, or removing an old date-stamp from a scanned photo. For photos that also need resizing before or after watermarking, Resize & Crop and Compress Image both run in the same no-upload way.

Frequently asked

Can this remove any watermark from any photo?

No — the clean-up tool smooths a selected area using nearby pixels, which works well for small stamps on plain backgrounds but can't reconstruct detailed content perfectly, and it isn't intended to strip copyright marks from someone else's work.

Can I tile the watermark across the whole photo?

Yes — turn on 'Repeat across image' to place a diagonal, repeating watermark pattern that's harder to crop out.

What format does the result download as?

A JPG file at high quality, matching your original image dimensions.
