These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pixformet.com and its tools (together, the "Service"), operated by Pixformet ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
By using any Tool on Pixformet, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
Pixformet provides free, browser-based tools for tasks such as compressing, resizing and converting images, and merging, splitting, compressing and converting PDF and document files. Processing generally happens locally in your browser, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
The Tools are provided for personal and professional convenience, free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that any output — including passport photo crops, converted documents, compressed images, or merged PDFs — will meet every requirement of every third party, such as a government passport office, visa authority, employer, or platform upload rule. Always verify tool output against the relevant official guidelines before relying on it for something important (see our Disclaimer for more detail).

You retain full ownership of any files you process using our Tools. Because processing happens locally in your browser, Pixformet does not claim any license to, or receive a retained copy of, the files you upload during normal use.
The Pixformet name, logo, site design, and original site content are owned by Pixformet or its licensors. Certain Tools rely on open-source third-party libraries, which remain governed by their own respective licenses. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to Pixformet's branding or codebase beyond ordinary use of the Service.
The Service may link to third-party websites (including official reference sources in our blog content) or load third-party code libraries. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.
This Site is supported by advertising, including through Google AdSense. Ads are served by third parties in accordance with their own policies and content standards; Pixformet does not select individual ad creatives shown to any visitor.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output files will be free of defects.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixformet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including reliance on any Tool's output for official, legal, or time-sensitive purposes.
You agree to indemnify and hold Pixformet harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, for any user who violates these Terms or whose use we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pixformet operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
